Vehicle Starts And Stalls Intermittently, replaced MAP sensor.

Complaint
Customer states the vehicle will start and then stall intermittently.

Diagnostic Steps Performed
Test drove the vehicle and confirmed that the vehicle will start and stall intermittently, and the vehicle will intermittently stall while driving. The check engine light is illuminated, and the following codes are set: U0107 – Lost Communication with Throttle Actuator Module, P0135 – Oxygen Sensor Heater Malfunction (B1-S1), P0155 – Oxygen Sensor Heater Malfunction (B2-S1), P0489 – Exhaust Gas Recirculation “A” Control Circuit Low, P0641 – Sensor Reference Voltage Circuit Open.

Cause
Measured voltage to confirm the presence of reference voltage at the different components that are provided reference voltage, and found the vehicle’s manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor was physically damaged at where the connector seats. Wiggled the MAP sensor connector and found that the 5 volt reference would intermittently short to ground while the connector was being moved.

Correction
Replaced the damaged MAP sensor, cleared codes, and confirmed the repair resolved the customer’s complaint.
