A 2018 Ford Edge lost cruise control and Pre Collision Assist after a CCM update. Without original configuration data, the system couldn’t complete setup. Reprogramming the module with factory as built data using a J tool restored both features, proving OEM programming is essential for modern driver assist repairs.
A 2014 Ford Escape set a traction control warning with the steering angle stuck at 5774. Despite calibration attempts and no communication codes, diagnostics revealed a faulty Steering Angle Sensor Module. Replacing the SASM and recalibrating the system restored proper data reporting and normal operation.
A 2006 Ford F 150 ran rough with intermittent low power and a persistent P1237 code that wouldn’t clear. Despite acceptable fuel pressure and a recently replaced FPDM, the real issue was a failing fuel pump. Replacing the pump resolved the drivability concerns and eliminated the fault code.
